Very helpful staff, old hutong location, old Chinese style rooms, good equipment, excellent location near railway station.
Can't fault anything about it.

This charming and peaceful courtyard hotel is a true hidden gem. the rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with traditional Chinese touches, providing a unique and immersive stay. the friendly host goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have a wonderful experience; from organizing private tours to offering laundry services at reasonable prices. Just steps away from the entrance, the location is perfect for exploring the charming surroundings and local breakfast spots.
Although this hotel provides basic shower and heating amenities, the limited access to hot water may pose a slight inconvenience for some guests.

The traditional furniture in the room and the cozy courtyard were the best aspects of our stay. The location, within walking distance from the old town center and close to the ancient wall, was also very convenient. the owner was friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi from the station and lending us bikes to explore the town.
Some negative aspects of our stay were the poor noise isolation and limited shower hours. The inn's building is old and noise travels easily, which was sometimes disruptive to our rest.

During my Christmas stay, the owner of the hostel was incredibly friendly and helpful. He spoke good English and offered us a map with highlights and prices. the courtyard had a nice authentic Chinese ambiance and was clean. We also enjoyed using the free bikes provided by the hostel to explore the area.
There was no breakfast provided, which was a bit disappointing. the location was a bit far from the center of the action.
